why does my oldsmobile toronado start up then die and only stays on when u give it gas?|||yeah make sure the throttle return spring didnt break if its still present find the idle adjust screw on your carb linkage and adjust it in slightly and see if the wont keep it going vroom vroom|||check the spring on the carb. it could be loose or broken.|||For a full answer you're going to have to be more descriptive.
