How did he grease struts on my Oldsmobile Alero?

I have a Oldsmobile Alero. At low speeds I had a lot of rattles and squeaks coming rom the front end. I took it to a major repair shop and dropped it off. I asked them to check my struts. A hour later they told me that I did not need struts. They also said they greased the struts and all noise is gone. They were right. I am curious, how did they grease my struts?|||Sprayed WD40 on the bushings.|||They may have lubed the chassis fittings.

This is done by removing the factory plugs and putting a "zert" fitting, using a grease gun and then replacing the factory plug back in the joint.
