Where is the keyless entry receiver located in an oldsmobile alero?

When I bought my 2001 4 door alero used, neither of the key fobs worked, so I replaced batteries and did that two buttons simultaneous reprogram, which did not work. Some weeks later I brought it to a mechanic for some bad sensors and I also asked about the key fobs. He told me they were working and that my receiver was broken. Which he then handed me. So I need to know where the keyless entry receiver is located in an oldsmobile alero?|||GM usually puts them in the center of the dash right up against the windshield|||No it was in the center near the rear windshield. I found it already.
