How do i replace the front drivers side fender and fiberglass cap for a 1979 oldsmobile cutlass ?

hi, i have a 1979 oldsmobile cutlass supreme brougham and its got some damage to the front drivers side fender and the front fiberglass cap, i have all the pieces i just need some help when it comes to replaceing them, or in other words is there any spicific order in which i need to unbolt the dented pieces or what do i need to look out for, any instructions would be greatly appreciated thanks.|||I just did one the other day. same year and everything. The fiberglasscap as you say is called a front header panel. Its easy take theheader panel off first.take allthe crap out of the way behind the studs that hold it to the fenders.Just look on the new onethat will show you where all the fasteners /nuts are undo them.Unhook all the electrical.Disconnect the battery first.Pull it off Look on the new fender you will see where its connected .undo the bolts.Assembly is reverse order of removal. The only thing is leave most of the bolts loose until you get it all together because there is some adjustments which have to be made you want all the gaps around the hood to be good front and sides. Then the gap between the door and fender is important also.there is some adjustment on them.they have to be shimmed thats spacers.|||just start taking bolts off one by one there should be a few behind the tire few in front probably one inside the door some under wheel well the hardest i would say would be the one inside the back of the bumper its nothing too hard
