Why does my 1998 oldsmobile silhouette cuts off while driving?

After driving the oldsmobile over 8 miles it would shut off when I come to a stop.|||If it cranks ok but won't start at that point, hook up a spark tester like the one below and see if you have good spark. If you do, spray quick start starting fluid into the engine's air intake duct to see if it will start, run and stall meaning you have a fuel delivery problem.|||sounds like a fuel pump... have seen them when they get warm they stop working... good luck
