How do you reset the timing on a crank sensor,on a 1992 oldsmobile cutless ciera?

After a good used part or a brand new crank sensor is replaced on a 1992 oldsmobile cutless ciera,does it need to be reset?If so how is that done?|||just screw it in. Done.|||you don,t set the timing but you do have to make sure the sensor is aligned with the fins on the crank damper or as soon as you hit that switch you can damage the sensor and the damper. just unhook the battery before you start.
